MONTHLY RECAP: Governor Kelly’s Leadership Continues to Break Records in Kansas

In June, Governor Kelly brought home historic success for Kansas. 

 

After the end of the legislative session, Governor Kelly has continued working to deliver fiscal relief to Kansans and to build a better future for our state. Governor Kelly brought home Kansas’ second Gold Shovel, provided tax relief for Kansas small businesses, and like Kansans everywhere, celebrated the 2026 World Cup coming to Kansas City!

June was an exciting month for Kansas thanks to Governor Kelly:

 

Governor Kelly was out on the road this month, including a stop in Independence, where she attended the groundbreaking of a new $390 million soybean processing plant. She spoke with local childcare providers in Emporia, where she attended the opening ceremony for a new early childhood education center and visited with Kansas seniors at a state-of-the-art ‘home+’ care center. She also visited McCarty Family Farms, where she officially proclaimed June as “Kansas Dairy Month,” recognizing the vital contributions our farmers and ranchers make to Kansas’ economy.
