The United Auto Workers Endorse Governor Laura Kelly

The United Autoworkers (UAW) are the latest organization to throw their support behind Governor Kelly in 2022

 

TOPEKA – Today, the United Auto Workers (UAW) Region 4 Mid-west States Cap Council, one of the largest labor unions in North America, endorsed Governor Laura Kelly for re-election. With membership from a diverse roster of workplaces, UAW represents 7,000 active and retired Kansans working in automobile manufacturing. This latest endorsement highlights Governor Kelly’s commitment to bringing good-paying jobs to Kansas and supporting the Kansas workforce.

 

“The progress that Kansas’ economy has made these past few years under Governor Kelly is undeniable. Throughout her time in office, the Governor has made sure that Kansas workers have a seat at the table,” Ron McInroy, Director UAW Region 4 said. “Governor Kelly was with us from day one when we were fighting for better pay and healthcare. We’re proud to endorse her as she continues her fight for working Kansas families.”
