Michael Tabman, former Kansas gubernatorial candidate, has endorsed Senator Laura Kelly for governor. Tabman noted Kelly’s experience fighting the Brownback experiment and her commitment to Kansas families as reasons for his endorsement.
“Like Laura, my wife and I decided to raise our family in Kansas because of the great schools and opportunities available here,” said Tabman. “For the past eight years, the Brownback-Colyer Administration put it all at risk. That’s why I’m supporting Laura Kelly for governor – she is a no nonsense, problem solver who stands up for working men and women and their families.”
Tabman, a retired FBI Special Agent in Charge, spent his 24-year career in the FBI protecting the safety of others. He was serving as the FBI Assistant Special Agent in Charge of the FBI Kansas City Office on 9/11, where he worked with local law enforcement and the community to ensure the safety of all Kansans.
“I’m happy to have the support of Michael Tabman who has worked tirelessly in his career to protect America,” said Kelly. “We share a commitment to keeping Kansans safe, investing in public safety, and improving opportunities for our children.”
“Laura is a highly-respected leader who understands the issues facing our state and is committed to working together to restore Kansas,” said Tabman.
Tabman lives in Overland Park with his family.
